Driver Qualification File Checklist

49 CFR 391.51 (general requirements for driver qualification files)

Every driver of a commercial motor vehicle (as defined in 390.5, whether or not a CDL is required) needs a qualification file. This checklist sits on top of each driver's file and shows the auditor each required item with the date it was obtained. Print one per driver and keep it current.
